  Another Zalkin court document for downloading - This is the Complaint for 4 more victims to make 6 cases

  august 26, 2011: this is the complaint that was filed on behalf of the other four victims for a total of six cases (not five as previously reported) that were settled out-of-court.

  all of the litigation over issues relating to the production of the documents regarding campos, and the ability to sue the institutions for the conduct of a publisher were litigated in the dorman /gamboa case, which did not need to be re-litigated by the same judge in the second set of cases.

  so many here have left the organization or been put out/disfellowshipped for so many unjust reasons.

  losing family, friends, jobs, even sanity at times!.

  SO, the main thing I learned from the whole experience is to never be so naïve again as to follow anyone so blindly in the name of anything.

  Right on, homey. Right on. I personally don't believe in God anymore, BUT.... i will go on record as saying that if there IS some sort of Diety, there ain't no man-made organization on this blue marble who's got his/her/its "direct line", that's fo sho.

  so simple, yet it could have prevented so many broken marriages if someone had just said something.... .

  "therefore, if any man can show any just cause why they may not lawfully be joined together let him speak now or else hereafter forever hold his peace".

  They do? I'm not doubting you, I'm just saying that I've never heard it around these parts. Maybe it's a regional thing? Personally, I think such a question would be inviting trouble, but then again, it's probably veiwed as a formality and nobody acknowledges it anyway.

  I do recall their making a very clear statement that there SHALL BE NO RICE-THROWING, LEST THE SKY GOD SMITE THEE.

  JW weddings are the worst, second only to JW funerals. Both sad, sad events.

  I still can't get over how the WT gets the cojones to demand fairness and constitutional clemency while denying the same to its victims.

  Damn right, Billy. I always crack up whenever I see how the WTBS runs and hides behind the letter of the law of this country and it's Constitution, all while denying those same due processes to it's victims (abused children, Judicial Committee defendants, etc.)

  I say let em build it. But on the condition that they have to be taxed or pay thru the nose some other way. See how fast the WT powers-that-be abandon the project.

  Around my parts, the whole gun thing is a big to do. Then again, the JWs in our neck of the woods have very bizarre/extreme views, even by already-nutty Witness standards. Guns is a big NO NO. If you are a hunter, then you can pretty much kiss your chances of being appointed and greased with oil goodbye.

  But travel a few hours in any direction and it's all different. Example: Had a buddy who was a MS by me. His BOE constantly harped on him for owning a shotgun and going skeet-shooting. He moves down south to backwoods yokelville, VA or NC or whatever and the PO at his new congregation takes him on a hunting trip. Go figure.
